Mac Miller

Malcolm James McCormick better known by his stage name Mac Miller was an American rapper who is still very popular after his tragic death at the age of 26 in 2018 due to a drug overdose. With his debut album Blue Slide Park (2011) he wrote history on the Billboard Top 200 for releasing the first independently-distributed debut album since 1995 to hit the number 1 spot with 144,000 copies sold in its first week. He accomplished this without even having a breakthrough single or any meaningful radio airplay prior tho the release. He grew onto be a rap legend with a very loyal fanbase and he did it all by himself. A true icon who unfortunately has gone too soon.
