Marco van Basten x Euro '88

Marco van Basten, a Dutch football player who is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most complete strikers and players the sport has ever known. Unfortunately his talent and qualities couldn't be displayed in a lengthy career considering that at the young age of 28 he already had to hang up his football boots due to an serious ankle injury. In his high-profile career Marco has scored 301 goals for Ajax, AC Milan and the Dutch national team. In the Euro finals of 1988 Marco van Basten scored the 0-2 for the Netherlands which secured the win of the first and so far only prize at an international final tournament for the Netherlands.
